Optimization Application to Power Systems
  System operational efficiency needs to be maximized within the secure operation region. In addition, for specific purposes in system operation and planning stage, several control parameters need to be well-coordinated covering diverse system conditions. Thus the application of optimization to power systems is needed to obtain solutions to operation and planning problems.
